The edges retain the original 17th century metallic braids and tassel trims original home spun linen backing
dates from early 17th century (circa 1620)
The panel is a very rare and beautiful Work of Art, almost Four Hundred years old of course shows appropriate signs of wear commensurate with this immense age With a historic, time worn faded grandeur that only centuries of age can achieve
