The cream silk ground worked in silks silver metal threads and silver spangles depicting a view of a garden
An oval cartouche to the centre worked with a Strawberry plant among yellow and green leaf trees and flowers, including Tudor Roses
Within a border of classical pillars worked in silver and silk threads
Possibly originally a cushion cover
Framed and Glazed
Considering this Museum worthy needlework is approx 450 years old is in remarkably good condition.
