Rare example entire surface covered in gross point needlework using naturally dyed wools and silks upon home spun linen canvas
Dating from mid 17th Century Circa 1650
Finished with 18th Century Gold Metallic trim and braid
Backed with antique linen
The Needlework panel almost 400 years old and of course has a beautiful time worn appeal with general signs of wear commensurate with this immense age.
