An exquisite Velvet Panel Dating from 16th century most likely Florence Hard to find naturally dyed Aubergine silk velvet voided upon a metallic gold silk ground .
There are still tiny metal fragments preserved on the gold ground . They sparkle beautifully as you can see in the 2nd photograph
