A beautiful antique goldwork panel
Ottoman and dating from circa 1800
The finest quality silk velvet decorated with exquisite and very opulent gold wire embroidery
Finished on all four sides with metallic tassel fringe circa 1800
Backed with silk
At some time in the past has been used as a cushion cover.
Antique time worn condition some surface rubbing to silk velvet . marks , areas shattering to silk backing. Backing would need replacing if you wanted to re work as a cushion (simple job)
some small losses to tassels. The goldwork is in very good condition
