A very rare antique Ottoman headdress /hat
Dating from early late 18th / 19th century Circa 1800
completely hand made comprising a stiff jute hessian base decorated with gold metal embroidery. Finished with a Magenta silk velvet rim
Acquired from a private collection in Bruges, Belgium
Antique time worn condition with general signs of wear commensurate with age and use
