This is a genuine antique pillow which for many years formed part of the furnishing in an English Country House Ideal for those having interior design requiring a Country House , gently time worn look which requires the backing and trims on the pillow to also be antique

***** On a genuine early 17th century verdure tapestry we would of course expect to see evidence confirming its 350 years of use, such as loose missing threads, areas of general wear, perhaps areas of re weaving / restoration, lines of separation within the weaving, sometimes areas of sun fading and brittle threads. A pillow edge may have been opened up and re stitched to change the pillow pads over the decades All quite normal for great age and type *****
