A long impressive valance comprising seven sections featuring Venetian silk velvet, voided to reveal gold metallic ground featuring Pomegranates embellished with Silver metal Boucle work .
Together with Seven needlework Obelisk Coat of Arms ,most likely of Renate Italy
Edged with early 16th century Elizabethan needlework border
Retains original linen fixing header band

Museum worthy textile approx 450 year old.
