worked in coloured silks on linen canvas Depicting stylised fruits and flowers including Pomegranates among scrolling vines

English Stuart Period circa 1650

Edged with 18th century silvery gold metallic braids backed with antique gold mohair velvet

Considering this needlework is almost 400 years old the condition is remarkable. One pillow has old restorations to a Pomegranate (top left corner) Minor small restorations and gentle age related wear.
