Very rare ,hardly ever found large impressive over size example

Would have been an extremely expensive purchase and only affordable by the French Aristocracy

Antique condition with appropriate signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
The gold bullion has mellowed to a lovely time worn antique patina, marks and some wear
As you can see they display beautifully

SIZE Total length of twisted rope is 73 inches the thickness is approx 1 inch
Each tassel is 9 inches long from the point where it joins the rope
