Finished with Fortuny printed braid trim along both side edges and bottom
A rare early Fortuny fabric printed by Mariano Fortuny in Venice Un laundered with a lovely faded grandeur , gently time worn appeal
Stitched repair bottom left . a couple of small bonded patches to reverse which are in the same fabric

Hung for many years as part of a Venetian inspired Fortuny decorated room in an English Country House and then stored away with the remainder of the Fortuny textile collection (which I have now acquired ) for approx 30 years in the attic within a large antique wood trunk
