Rare Antique Orphrey Panel
The needlework roundals depicting three Saints and the Virgin are Medieval dating from late 15th centurym most likely English.
At some time in the distant past re worked incorporating 17th century embroidered crimson silk velvet finished with 17th century gold metallic binding.
Re backed later with antique linen
This is a very rare museum worthy textiles and of course is in an antique condition with general signs of wear commensurate with over 400 years of age
