Originally part of an opulent Altar Panel Magenta silk velvet worked in coloured silks, gold and silver metal embroidery Edged on two sides with 17th century 'eye of God' gold metallic braid. complete with 17th century backings
This beautiful panel is approx 500 years old and of course is time worn and shows evidence of this immense age.
