Originally green velvet on a gold silk ground . When held in certain lights traces of original green can still be seen
Antique time worn condition with appropriate signs of wear commensurate with immense age.
Bonded to a panel of 16th century silk velvet to preserve / stabilize
Now ready for framing Quite rare to find such a large example, occasionally small fragments are discovered
SIZE actual chasuble front is 20 inches max x 17 inches max
