Hand worked in natural dyed wool
Depicting a large exotic leaves salvaged from a damaged Indienne tree of life wall hanging
Treasured embroideries such as this were individually embroidered and then appliqued to linen or felted wool etc. grounds
This process could be repeated many times over the centuries as the ground fabric deteriorated.
Now a project to re work for future generations.
Antique time worn condition with general signs of wear commensurate with immense age and use.
